More raids, less poison ships please

Hello guys. The greatest moments of the Rimworld are when you repel raids, but in 5 quadrums, I only saw 2 raids but 3 poison ships. I always play on Phoebe Chillax

Raids should be the normal event, and Poison ships a rare event

I like Phoebe pace, but there should be raids instead of poison ships.

Anyway next time I'll play Cassandra

If you want a closer parallel to Phoebe, you might want to choose Randy on an easier setting; Cassandra WILL eventually overwhelm you, on anything but the easiest difficulties; all that changes is how long it takes ^^'.

Cassandra still has a cap on how much she can throw on you. With some mods expanding defensive structures (vanilla turrets and sandbags are a joke) it is possible to survive it reliably.

If you want more raids, go to scenario editor and set Create Incident: Raid and have them repeat every X days before you start the game.

I'm doing that with my new game except i create raid, manhunter, poison, psychic and chased refugee repeat on diff time intervals. Doing that apparently doesn't stop the game from randomly generating raids and what not for you so its possible to have 2 raids happening while a psychic ships dropping on you.

Or yeah, simply don't play phoebe.

+1 to this suggestion. Mechanoids are annoyingly too common relative to appropriately sized raids on Phoebe.

To everyone saying "don't play Phoebe," that's a decent workaround, but this is a reasonable suggestion to rebalance Phoebe to increase the ratio of human invaders vs. mechanoids.

If you know, you can disable the psychic/poison ship events at the scenario editor at your next colony.

I like these ship events, pretty easy resources.

Yep, I just noticed a dramatic lack of recruitment opportunities when the mechanoid events start crowding out raids.

when does this start?  I'm running a game with Phoebe on "some difficulty" and so far I've had one mechanoid raid and at least a dozen human raiders.  Is this something that happens mostly at higher difficulties?
