Hello any Macintosh users here? I am playing Rim World with a MacBook Pro and I am having difficulty to find the "rws" extension files within my computer. Do you guys know where the "Saved games" files get stored? Thanks in advance.

Canute

I don't know the Mac system, but at the windows rimworld goto the option there you find "open saved data folder".
Thats the place you find saved game and configs.

Unfortunately that options menu button doesn't seem to exist on the Mac version. Not sure why that is, but I posted a bug report about it earlier as I doubt it's an intentional ommision. But its absence does make it comparitiely harder for Mac user to find their save files (than Windows users).

Just found
For Mac users:
/Users/your user name/Library/Application Support/RimWorld

@ Yoshida Keiji - Are you able to navigate to the above folder manually?

Try looking in:   /Users/[your user name]/Library/Logs/Unity/

I can see a "Logs" folder in your screenshot, so fingers crossed the saves might be in there (this folder path info is taken from the pinned bug forum thread, in relation to the log file location. Not sure if the save files will be in a "Logs" folder structure, but may as well check it just in case.

Edit - Do Macs have hidden files and folders? If so maybe enable the option to view them as perhaps the RimWorld folder is hidden? (for whatever reason).

How to view the ~/Library folder on a Mac

There are three ways to easily view your hidden ~/Library/ folder.

In MacOS Sierra Apple added a Finder keyboard shortcut that makes it possible to quickly show all the hidden files and folders. You just need to do the following:
1.Open the Finder
2.Go to your Macintosh HD folder (access this from Devices in the left column)
3.Hold down CMD-Shift-. (dot)
4.All the hidden files will become visible
5.Hold down CMD-Shift-. (dot) a second time to hide the files again

The easiest way to find your hidden ~/Library/ folder is to do the following:
1.Open the Finder
2.Hold down the Alt (Option) and choose Go
3.You will see the ~/Library folder listed below the Home folder

Alternatively, you could do the following:
1.Open the Finder
2.Choose Go from the menu bar
3.Choose Go to Folder (or Shift-CMD-G)
4.Type ~/Library into the text box and press go

You can now see and access the contents of the ~/Library which were previously hidden from sight.

Try the above to find the hidden bits.
Mods I would recommend:
Mending, Fertile Fields, Smokeleaf Industries and the Giddy Up series.

The Mod you must have:

I can see something of Rim World, but it says diag. of "Diagnostics" (maybe)? But I'm supposed to find file extensions of "rws"...as of RimWorldSaves...right?

Canute

Can't you do a file search at your partion ?
Just search for one of you saved game, or for .rws .
