Door tile shouldn't be stand-able if not held open.

Well... I like to start this thread in suggestion forum but I found that it's just my opinion. So, I make a thread here instead to listen to your opinion first.

I think that door tile shouldn't be able to stand still or drop item to get door stuck if it not order to held open.

Some situation is like:
"Some friendlies just decide to give a help on one of the raid. He take cover between a door and just got dead by the bullet. Now his body struck there and I can't close the door which lead the raider to breach at that spot."

"I make a walled area and make a growing zone inside to prevent wild animal ravage my crop. My pawn just carry all the chunk in the growing field and lazily drop at closet spot, which is on the door tile."

"My warden try to recruit the prisoner that standing in front of the prisoner cell. He's talking to the prisoner while standing on the cell door tile, held the door open. Other prisoner in the same cell escape."

So, I'm suggest that door tile shouldn't  be able to stand still or drop any item on that tile. The exception is when the pawn just went down or die when walking pass that door. With this idea, the door will always close unless you order that door to held open.

Any idea?

Disagree.  I like being able to stand in a door to shoot at enemies, and immediately retreat, slamming the door behind me.

I agree some of the more annoying parts, like holding the door to the freezer open while you build flooring, or holding the door to a climate controlled area (hyponics room in a too hot/cold climate) is simply stupid, but I'm willing to trade that for the improved combat ability every day.
Two tiers of construction jobs.  One for expensive/quality items, and one for walls/floors/etc.

I think maybe this could work, but with the exception that if they're drafted and you tell them to go to the door, it stays open.

This would complicate any strategy where you fire from a door and retreat behind it when necessary.
Should I feel bad that nearly half my posts are in the off topic section?

The only complain that could be validated would be not to shear animal wool and drop it at door tiles. I once had a prison break of three captives because an idiot pawn just decided to put it there.

Whenever I make indoor plantations I always ensure to leave the tile next to the door "clear" so no harvester will be placing veggies there. And when playing Ice Sheet, I make sure to build an airlock corridor (1 or 2 tiles).

I have no problem with corpses blocking the door from closing...that is once Tynan upgrades the game so that we can have "Rescue" events where our ex-colonists will be properly held in their own prison cells and we have to break them free. Then we (players) can have the same chances as our enemies. I will show you my shoulder ink, I have their schematics there.
