The first thing that happened a few months ago is I went fishing and actually caught some and made real dinner from it. It was the first time in my life doing that. (I know there is no fishing in the game but the survivalist mood made me learn it.)

Then later:
- I secure myself a good sleep
- Use way less alcohol
- Dropped smoking
- Keep my house cleaner and stuff more organised

Generally, being more efficient and acknowledging my needs, dangers and skills in life.

Anyone else? :)

I learned that loot drops are better than making stuff.

Caravan train robberies, because their stuff just pops into existence without all that time consuming research and resource conversion.
My 5-point rating system: Yay, Kay, Meh, Erm, Bleh

When I'm leaving my house with pants on I was always getting angry until I recognized that I can just drop them and go for a walk without them.

I learned that even the most obnoxious boor can be quite, err...tasty...company.  And I never lack for stylish eveningwear and head coverings, to boot!
Thanks, belgord!

Dargaron

I learned that nearly 50% of all people want to murder me, break into my house, and trash all my stuff. That's why my garden path is lined with steel chunks and spring-loaded spikes.

EDIT: I do hope this is supposed to be one of those "ha ha not really" threads; or at the very least, that it turns into one.

I can see how this game (and games like it), could help train organization and management skills.

On the other hand, Purina didn't like my idea of "morgue chow"; but why waste good human meat? ::)
Should I feel bad that nearly half my posts are in the off topic section?
