Rah's Bionics and Surgery Expansion VS Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering

Wich one would you recomend?

The situation is as follows:
-Be me; only use a hand full of QoL mods, no game altering stuff
-Be happy
-Forget a single piece of wall...
-Be suprised when the Mechs suddenly come from the back and not the front
-Have like 85% of your colony missing limbs and running with only on lung/kidney
-Be desperate
-Now have to decide wich mod to use to clean up the mess

Wich one should I use? Wich one is good for what? EPOA looks like a lot of features, but do I really need them? I don't want a cyborg army, I just want kate and Sam to walk and breath at >20% again :/ also a few feet and femurs wouldn't hurt...
On the other hand a few nice features would't hurt, but I don't want to overengineer it.

Any suggestion is appreciated

Edit:
I also don't want to make the game to easy. But having everybody crippled to the max just isn't a state I can accept!

Edit Edit:
My poor Labradors also could use some new limbs.... A dog said or Vanilla friendly animal surgery?
I experimented with all 4 mods a bit but I never got so far that I would've been able to propper use them so this is why I'm asking for opinions here.

You can actually fix all of those problems within the vanilla game, with time/luck.
Thanks, belgord!

Sure I could. I could also just take this missfortune incident as an cheap excuse to finally get one of those mods and build myself a hospital^^
But the base questions stays: Wich one schould you take, what are the benefits, the positive and negative stuff each one offers?
Right now my tendency goes in favor for Rah's as hardocre edition, that one seems to offer much stuff but doesn't look to op.

I haven't tried EPOE but I feel like it adds too much stuff and it doesn't give you the vanilla feeling.

I HAVE tried RBSE before and I think it's a more balanced, vanilla-friendly bionics mod. I use the Hardcore version too just to add a bit more challenge to crafting bionics.

EPOE adds too much stuff to be added to vanilla Rimworld as part of the base game. However, RBSE feels like it could be added to vanilla Rimworld because it enhances the experience instead of just adding way too much content.

I don't think RBSE has bionic feet, but I'm pretty sure you can fix broken bones.

If you would read both mod descriptions you normaly would have an answer.
Rah's one is splited a few releases from EPoE, because he thought the things need to be more realistic and tougher.

If you want it easyer use EPoE, if you want it more tougher use Rah's one or the EPoE rebalanced.

Right, because I haven't red them.

My choice is Rah's hardcore.

It is more balanced yes you can fix most things but there is either cost or side effect (Neural Stimulator). There is also the research side of things to help balance. Tribals will not be doing brain surgery at the drop of a hat.

I don't know if a Dog Said works with Rah's but pets are pets the useful ones only last about 10 in game years anyway. Cooked Husky isn't to much different from cooked Panther. (this is my opinion and I understand it may conflict with other peoples views on pets)
Mods I would recommend:
Mending, Fertile Fields, Smokeleaf Industries and the Giddy Up series.

The Mod you must have:
