What if worker insects could build their own organic-based roof supports as needed?

I thought roof collapse was a feature of insect hives, since it will cause them to attack your colony it means you can't just ignore an infestation forever, since eventually they will charge you.

If that's the way the game designers want it, then roof support would be contraproductive.
Cool idea though.

And I like the Idea. Which could go so far that Builders collect materials for building and maintaining their hives, fermenting insect jelly and Warriors hunting Wildlife to feed the "colony" and so on ..  Alien Antfarm

It's called "Ever Heard of Walls, Insectoids" and allows hives to support roofs.
