when attacking an item stash, if you know theres an ambush, you can simply shoot at a wall of the loot room untill it breaks and reform your caravan without fighting off the ambush

I think what he says is that when you go on a encounter map, destroy a wall from the loot room then set that area as stockpile you can reform your caravan and dont fight with the ambush. Maybe you can make the encounters attack you when destroy something from their buildings to stop this thing.

Understood. Sounds like it'd be pretty easy to fix, as you say, by triggering when the player damages the building.
