Finding the Center of the Map

Is there a way to find the absolute center of the map? I want my settlements to be situated at the center.

Use the plan tool in the orders tab to find the centre. Measure one side of the map and then divide it by 2, then go up by that number from the centre of that side.

In general your pawns' escape pods will land pretty close to the site map centre, so just build there (mountain map excluded obv..)

Otherwise just go with Pred's suggestion; the planned squares can be easily deleted & have no effect on your pawns
