Greeting all the modder. I'm khun_poo, today I got an idea to share with you all. It maybe long and sound childish, or maybe this mod already exist but I don't know. Please feel free to share your idea  :)

I call it "weapon special skill".

I have got an idea from weapon attack command that showing whenever you draft a pawn (melee attack or shooting). So, how about we add more command for them that give the feeling of RPG style theme to it?

However, this skill need to be unlock by doing something before like practice level skill or hauled stuff, take dmg, dealt dmg, kill mech, etc. (You can check this inside the pawn info record  ;).)

Here we go.


Melee weapon

Club, Mace, Tree log and beer
Skill = Skull bash
Description = Aim and bash club directly on opponent head to daze enemy.
Skill info = Aim time 1.5 sec, cooldown time x2 of normal attack. If Skull bash hit the enemy, deal damage to target's head and daze them for 4 second (Daze will cause targeted to move around confusingly). This skill will only hit on head part of the target only. Daze have no effect on mechanoid.
Skill Unlock = Lv 6 or above in melee weapon,
                     or hauled any item above 100 times.

Shiv
Skill = Puncture
Description = Purposely aim and attack at target part that still undamage to make them bleed. Can't use on mechanoid.
Skill info = The same as normal attack but will never attack the target part that already take damage. This skill will not target at enemy eyes and unbleeding part. This will make every part of the target to bleed and easily down from blood lost. If all body part of the target already take dmg and bleeding, this skill will stop attacking.
Skill Unlock = Lv 5 on medicine,
                     or successfully surgery 2 times.

Bare hand, bionic arm, prosthetic arm, all gun, bow and grenade
Skill = Shove
Description = Push enemy target back. Deal no dmg. Have a high chance to down the enemy for a short while.
Skill info = Melee cooldown and aim time is the same as normal attack but deal no dmg on hit. Have a 75% chance to hit against enemy that weight less than the user, 50% chance to hit against humanoid target, 15% chance to hit against enemy that weight more than user.
This skill can push enemy down to the floor. Enemy that got push will down and sleeping for about 4 second before awake. Any range atk have 100% chance to hit at down enemy (at close range).
Skill Unlock = Lv 10 on melee,
                     or clean floor 200 times.

Ikwa and Pila
Skill = Leg thrust
Description = Cripple enemy by aim and thrust short spear to their legs.
Skill info = Aim time 1 sec, same cooldown as normal atk. Can hit from 1 tile away from target (Long range melee). This attack only aim at enemy leg.
Skill Unlock = Lv 4 on shooting,
                     or down 20 animals.

Knife and power claw
Skill = Assasinate
Description = Kill target instantly while they're down or sleeping.
Skill info = Aim time 2 sec, same cooldown as normal atk. Always hit, instant kill and cause no sound to alert nearby enemy. Can only use on down or sleeping target.
Skill Unlock = Lv 6 on cooking,
                     or slaughtered 4 animals,
                     or euthanized 4 pawns.
                     or have blood lust trait.

Spear and elephant tusk
Skill = Bulwark
Description = Make a wall of spear using 2 or more pawns standing in the line. Increase melee hit range to 3 tiles. Every hit will push back enemy. Cannot move while in this stance.
Skill info = Need 2 or more pawns with spear or elephant tusk equip and standing in the line to activate skill. Once activate, pawn will unable to move. Melee range will increase to 3 tiles. Every connected attack while in this stance will push enemy back 3 tiles away from Bulwark line. If one of the pawn in Bulwark line cancel the skill, undraft or downed the skill will end.
Skill Unlock = Lv 4 on social and Lv 4 on melee,
                     or rescue pawn 2 times.

Gladius, Longsword, Thrumbo horn and Scythe blade
Skill = Riposte
Description = Concentrate on enemy attack. Increase dodge chance. If dodge successfully, Riposte will take one body part away from enemy.
Skill info = When activate Riposte, pawn will stand still and concentrate, waiting for an enemy melee attack. Dodge chance increase by 15.0 while concentrated. If pawn successfully dodge enemy melee attack (Have "Dodge!" message pop up), pawn will counter attack with Riposte that will take away one of target body part. The skill will not activate if target that hit pawn miss on it's own (no "Dodge!" message pop up).
Skill Unlock = Lv 12 on melee,
                     or have Nimble trait.


Range weapon

Short bow and Recurved bow
Skill = Poison arrow
Description = Shoot an arrow dip with deadly poison.
Skill info = Aim time x3, same cooldown as normal atk. If hit, apart from normal damage caused from normal damage. Poison arrow will add toxic build up to the target. Each shot add toxic build up by 25%. Does not work on mechanoid.
Skill Unlock = Lv 4 on crafting,
                     or Lv 4 on medicine.

Great bow
Skill = Fire arrow
Description = Shoot an arrow that will ignite target on fire.
Skill info = Aim time x3, same cooldown as normal atk. Can shoot on ground. If the arrow miss the target and hit the ground, the arrow will spread chemfuel on that tile and ignite the tile on fire.
Skill Unlock = Lv 6 on crafting,
                     or have Pyromaniac trait.

Revolver, Auto pistol and Machine pistol
Skill = Desperado
Description = Ignore weapon cooldown and accuracy. Instead add forced miss area to the gun. Had a small chance for the gun to jam.
Skill info = Aim time x1, NO cooldown Add forced miss area like mini gun. Using this ability have a chance for gun to jam. If the gun is jam, pawn will need 5 second to fix it (Decrease time by manipulation, work speed, and crafting level.) The chance for gun to jam is 10% at shooting lv 0. Every shooting skill level decrease the chance of gun jamming by 1% (no gun jam at lv10)
Skill Unlock = Lv 8 on shooting,
                     or have Trigger happy trait,
                     or high on flake  :P.

Flag grenade, Shotgun and Chain shotgun
Skill = Smoke granade
Description = Shot smoke screen round like those smoke pop belt work but take away gun durability.
Skill info = Aim time x3, cooldown x3 of normal atk. Can shoot on ground. Create a smoke screen that cover the area. Turret can't lock on target in the smoke screen. Each shot take around 3-6 durability from the gun.
Skill Unlock = Lv 5 on shooting,
                     or take at least 50 damage,
                     or stone on smokeleaf joint  :P

Heavy smg
Skill = Bullet time
Description = Can avoid all projectile (100% cover) even out on the empty plain. Can not move or shoot while using bullet time. Cannot avoid explosive and fire projectile. A really cool but tiresome move.
Skill info = Tiredness x100% while activate bullet time. Cannot walk or shoot while in this stance. Pawn will have 100% cover while in this stance. This skill has no effect against aoe projectile like grenade or rocket launcher.
Skill Unlock = Lv 8 on shooting,
                     or have nimble trait,
                     or high on go juice.

LMG and Minigun
Skill = Garrisoned
Description = Deploy 8 sandbags around pawn to take cover. While in this stance, LMG and Minigun cooldown will cut by half and double the bullet in burst fire . Pawn can't move until deactivate the skill. The sandbag share the same durability as the gun (this sandbag can't be repair).
Skill info = When activate, 8 special sandbags will surround around pawn. Cannot be use if there is object blocking sandbag path. If sandbag taking damage, the gun durability will decrease. While in this stance, Aim time x1, cooldown x0.5 and bullet count is x2 in burst fire of normal atk. Cannot move until deactivate the skill.
Skill Unlock = Lv 6 on building,
                     or have a soldier backstory.
                     or repair 500hp structure

Molotov and Incendiary launcher
Skill = Fuel Sludge
Description = Shot a pure chemfuel sludge on the target area. The sludge is highly flammability and can be shot into the existing fire to prolong it flame. It's also good using as fundamental of fire trap. The sludge will dissipate when rainfall.
Skill info = Aim time x1.5, cooldown x1 of normal atk. Create a puddle of inflammable chemical on the ground area. This chemical will dissipate by rain or order some pawn to clean it.
Skill Unlock = Lv 6 on crafting,
                     or have Pyromaniac trait.

Assault rifle
Skill = Single shot
Description = Decrease the burst fire nature of assault rifle into the single shot. Increase it accuracy by 15% at all range and reduce cooldown by 50%
Skill info = Aim time x1, cooldown x0.5 of normal atk.
Skill Unlock = Lv 10 on shooting
                    or have at least 1 bionic eye install
                    or have Careful Shooter trait.

Sniper rifle and Bolt action rifle
Skill = Camouflage
Description = Lay down on the ground to make it harder to be hit. Increase weapon range by 20% But increase aim time by 50%.
Skill info = Aim time x1.5, cooldown x1 Weapon range x 1.2 of normal atk. Cannot move while Camouflage.
Skill Unlock = Lv 12 on shooting
                     or Lv 12 on animal
                     or have Careful Shooter trait.

Charge rifle
Skill = Super charged
Description = Super charged the gun and fire a single projectile that deal heavy dmg and cause EMP explosion area of effect.
Skill info = Aim time x3, cooldown x3 of normal atk. Shot a single projectile at enemy that deal 50 dmg if hit the target. The projectile also cause EMP explosion area of effect like EMP grenade too.
Skill Unlock = Lv 12 on shooting
                     or kill 10 mechanoids
                     or have Psychically Sensitive
                     or Psychically Hypersensitive trait.
