Game not opening music playing

upon running rimworld. program did not go to menu. and only music is heard.
I have just bought this game on steam and am not able to run it.
I have tried the "uncheck the "Read-only" option" and also the
"Reset RimWorld's configuration" & also ran thet delete reg
I am running on win 7
seem to have alot of HandleD3DDeviceLost.
any fix?

Please can you check that your GPU drivers are up to date (as that HandleD3DDeviceLost error is usually solved by updating your drivers)

Also moving this to support as it doesn't look like a bug in the game.
