This might be a stupid question but how do I update my mod in steam? I've changed my dll and I even edited the About but when I start the game the mod in the mod list doesn't give me the option to update.

And your About folder must contain the id file from the SteamWorkshop system, IIRC. But this shouldn't be an issue. Unless you moved folders around

With dev mode active, from RimWorld main menu, go to mods menu, then highlight your mod.  I should give you an option to upload to steam.

Yes, that is what I did. There is no update option.

Ok, so I moved the whole whole mod from the steam mod folder to the game mod folder and it gives me the option to upload.

So can't you update from the steam mod folder?

Never tried but I really think you can't.

When I do modification in mods in the steam mod folder, they are kept until updates. Updates that erase them completely then redownload the folder. So I guess you experience confirms that we can't ;op
