Confirmation window for double check (I have a cat)

I was playing the game normally and had two Thrumbos I was pot shooting when I got a refugee chased window with pirates running behind, so I thought: Great! I can use the Thrumbos to deal with the pirates. So thinking about the incoming fight, I went to pee to the toilet and my cat wanted water from the hand washing source, I let her drink, did my own needs and she rushes first to my room. She rests in a warm electric pad for pets right next to my computer so I can give her taming touches every once in a while. She just happened to jump and step on my MacBook Pro to get there, and when I returned to the game, the refugee chased window was gone...

Sure, I can just switch screen tabs so she doesn't hit any Rim World key but another thing instead, close the laptop, or just close my door so she doesn't rush in first but...

Can I ask for a double check window: Proceed? Yes/No

...and before you say it: No, I'm not gonna butcher my cat for that.

rimemes aside, how about you just change the window whenever you go out of the room? it should be a normal reflex for any self respecting person that watches pR0n...erm...i mean...does research on human females with and without their underwear and their action in companion of another human female or a human male or any number and combination or variation of those...yeah...

anyway.
what i am trying to say is, to change windows quickly press alt and tab. to change to desktop view press windows and m or windows and d.
remember and use these shortcuts often, they are very useful.
