Just fired up Rimworld awhile back to check out b18.  I'm having a weird thing with my zones.  One zone is normal importance while another zone I made for sniper rifles is critical...but no pawns want to haul the sniper rifles.  I know it must be me and not a bug because with Rimworld it's usually 10/10 my fault...here's some images

Here's the zone I'm trying to pull from: https://snag.gy/izNFo0.jpg

Here's the zone I'm trying to pull to:https://snag.gy/FIpl17.jpg

Here's what happens when i try to haul: https://snag.gy/SWCebB.jpg

Even if I delete this zone I'm trying to pull from and R-click to haul it says "no place for item" or something like that D:

Thanks for the help! :D

Did you change the quality or condition sliders on the to zone? The rifle is normal quality.

If it's not letting you pull to the Critical priority zone, something is wrong.

Make sure you allow smeltable weapons
Be absolutely sure you have the correct weapon selected
Check health and quality sliders
Check restricted areas. Make sure the pawn can reach both stockpiles.

Beyond that, it should work. I use feeder stockpiles all over my base so I know that feel when they don't function. Also, if you just changed a setting while paused I would run the game a tick (just unpause a second) so pawns are "aware".

Do you have allow smeltable checked?

Awwwww that was it!!!! Thanks so much guys....wth is "allow smeltable"????

I don't remember that setting but it's been awhile since I last played.

You guys rock :D

Smeltable weapons are weapons that can be broken down at a smelter into resources. Most weapons aside from neolithic are smeltable.

silversalmon

Roger that.  Cheers my dudes :D again thanks for the help.....that was buggin' the hell outta me

The stockpile configuration menu is a little stupid that way.  Material selection occurs in parallel with item selection, but only for weapons/armor, and when you "clear all", it disables both smeltable and non-smeltable.

Did you know that Grenades are non-smeltable?
Mental break: playing RimWorld
Hans Lemurson is hiding in his room playing computer games.
Final straw was: Overdue projects.

anything made of metal is smeltable. Makes weapons made of uranium and silver great. But like a marble club, just leave that junk where the enemy dropped it...
