I never have used the nutrient paste dispenser, honestly, but I *imagine* that, just like normal prepared meals, that animals will probably eat the stuff.  Anyone have a definite answer?

Bozo, I keep a nutri dispenser going into my prison barracks wall. So I can have the hoppers on the outside for quick refill, but prisoners won't escape through it. But they can feed themselves, so you no longer have to have wardens bring them meals. Plus you save labor from not having to cook anything or extra haul jobs, and you can scratch that sadistic itch, knowing the scum who attacked you only get to eat mush.

Yes animals will eat nutrient paste meals. Which I believe blows the haygrass is better than rice out of the water. They will not draw their own meals off however, but there are some simple methods for spamming nutrient paste meals to feed them with.
