Basic water infrastructure

Currently theres some mods out there that somehow add water to the game.

Is it realistic to get a basic water system (with drinking need) in V1.0, similar to the power system?

It shouldn't be THAT hard to do, and would prevent a lot of compatibility issues for modding.

Water has to be just about the easiest of all the repeatedly suggested ideas to search for. Since at least stuff like children/kids/pregnancy and Z-levels/floors/storeys/basement can be suggested under several names, and so not quite as easy to find. But "Water"!!! That's a search function's dream, and the search function you should have used to find one of the existing threads for this suggestion.

Plus Tynan has said several times that RimWorld is now feature locked (as of v.1.0). Meaning there is zero chance of a water system being added to the vanilla game because it would be a major new feature. So those who want a water system will have to ad one via mods.
