Mods ain't working keep saying Wrong version and Unknow

I'm running version  0.18.1722 and not using steam. thanks for any help this really frustrating and I cant wrap my head around it. If you have any questions please ask.

I need to say you miss the Topic "How to install mods" completly.
Look like you made a mistake to install/copy all the mods.
After you opening the Folder "Mods" you should see alot of folder's and no file.
One of these folder should be "Core" the Basic game.
Another mod that i saw you wanted to have installed is "AllowDeadMansApparel" you should see a folder named that mod too.
When you open a mod folder you should see some more folder's and no file. These folder names are About, Defs maybe Assemblies,Textures,Languages,...

Mods ->
            Core
            Modfolder1  ->
                                  About
                                  Defs

If you don't have these file structure, you should correct your installation.

I read the how to install mod topic but I installed them before reading lol, got all the mods from reddit modding FAQ.  so if move the files with the mods name up into the mod folder and delete the archive named file should that fix it?

I guess the answer is yes I have fixed it thanks for helping and newbie out.
