Evidently, the Centipede is outside and fired a shot that hit the walls from the outer side, but started burning flammables within...

Similar to Doomsday launcher.
Even if your wall's survive, things behind the wall get destroyed and burn.

That logic does not hold when applied to the game in general.  It's unusable in terms of internal consistency.

Same thing happens with grenades and molotovs...

But i think this should be in the Bugs section...
