Traders bring almost no silver

I am in my first Rimworld game and going strong towards mid/late game. I am swimming in some bulk materials (wool, food, drugs) and would love to sell them. But whenever traders show up they only bring around 800 silver along.


Do I need to form caravans and bring the stuff to them?

Build an orbital trade beacon and comm console. Trade ships carry between 2k to 3k silver

Basicly yes, faction outpost got a bit more silver to trade.
Or you need to wait for orbital trader they got more silver too.

But since outpost's restock their inventory/silver slowly (i think each quadrum) you maybe should think about to request caravan to you.
Since a call cost 700 silver, you should think about what caravan you request.
I call them if i need special materials.
