Rimworld not starting at all.

The issue I'm running into is that I download the client and click on it to start, but it wont open. Im running it on a mac version 10.6.8 and its starting to get me angry. Now im just wondering did i just waist my money.

I'm unfamilliar with Mac, but normally, what you download is a zip file archive.
Shouldn't you need to extract that first and start the extracted game file?
But hopefully here is someone from the Mac-Faction around that can help you better

Thats what I've done and it is not working. I then downloaded another game to see if that was the problem and it wasn't that game worked fine.
