How to make kibble?

Hi,

I am trying to make kibble to feed my tamed animals as they keep eating my prepared meals but the stove is only allowing me to cook one of the 3 prepared meal types or pemmican.

How do I get it to make kibble, please?

You can also feed them pemmican.

You need meat and vegetables for kibble, but unlike human food, simple ration for example, you can use hay instead of the other veggies.
So it is a bit cheaper that way.

Unless your playing an Cannibal or Psychopath Colony.

Because Non-Cannibals or Non-Psychopaths will be very upset and going on a rampage or slaughtering or beserking spree.

But hey it's more economical with human meat.

Keep in mind that pemmican has more nutrition than kibble using the same amount of ingredients. Kibble is worth doing if you use hay, as hay cannot be made into pemmican.

Human meat gives debuff in general. Process insect meat instead.

As the previous poster said, hay + insect meat is the ultimate kibble recipe with no downsides. The only problem is getting enough insect meat if you have a lot of animals.
If you don't have hay, there's little point in making kibble except to get rid of random bits of human or insect meat lying around.

Feed them nutrient paste meals it is the cheapest animal food in game.

Also your colonists wont like it -4 debuff but the can and will live off it as well.
