What's something so minor and specific to you that it'd probably never get added

I think this doesn't sound a lot.

Mannequins.

A piece of furniture for putting those extra clothes or armor on a dummy that just only stands while showing off that *Masterwork* Devilstrand clothing made by your 16 level Crafter. You can tell colonists to equip what the mannequin has, like say power armor in case of emergencies or just plain old cowboy dusters and a hat if someone poor colonist's clothes get damaged for some reason. Deconstructing them or uninstalling the Mannequins their clothing/armor will drop and if raiders see any Mannequins, raiders stealing will unequip everything that the mannequin has to steal those *Masterwork* Devilstrand clothing that it has.

Also Tube televisions should play sounds too please when in use.

I like the mannequins idea, and it actually kinda surprises me that I've never seen it before. Huh. I'm onboard.

The first thing I thought of when I thought about TV sounds was canned laughter. Then, I remembered that most of them were recorded in the 1950s, so most -if not all- of the people in those recordings are dead. Oh, and Rimworld doesn't have faster than light travel, and signals take a while to load. This means that your pawns could watch a sitcom from a long-dead civilization that use a laugh track from the previously long-dead civilization. That's grim.
Why are you focusing on having a personal life rather than updating a mod that you're not paid to work on?

No loosing your bed when on caravan. When everyone gets back and plays musical beds is just weird.

"Yeah I really hate that guy he is my rival when we get back from this caravan I'm gonna sleep in his bed." WTF

I wish torches, campfire and coolers didn't self destruct after they run out. Makes playing no electricity a pain.

separating items with quality (beds, tables) from items without quality (walls, floors), and insignificant items (concrete, power conduits) on the work tab.

I want to allow my 0 construction dudes to lay power lines.
I want only my 15 construction dude to make beds and furniture.
I'd like all of my 5-10 construction guys helping make walls and floors for bedrooms and hospitals.
Two tiers of construction jobs.  One for expensive/quality items, and one for walls/floors/etc.

 While neither are in the game and may not be exactly what you want, I can recommend two mods I use in my own game.

Try [urlhttps://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=754637870&searchtext=]Quality Builder[/url] for this. You get to select the qualities you want on your furniture. It's not overpowered, as your pawns will keep rebuilding until they get the quality you want. This can be complimented by No Random Construction Quality where you don't have to deal with your capable pawns making crappy furniture.

Simple one here, Firepit + Torch Sconce. You can make, well, guess, out of stone and the assorted stones. The fire can go out, but the refuel point and bills won't, I love it.

That is so annoying. I don't mind them switching beds, but I can never send both of a couple in a caravan because when they come back they sleep seperated, WTF?

OH! OH! I got one/two/three!
-Disco Ball: When powered on, rapidly switches colors. Roof mounted. Plays trash 80's music.
-Flying Mechanoid- Because a one shot sniper and killer bus was just not enough. Flies over cover, picks up colonists (just forcing them to move with them), and books it. You can still hit/ shoot it as it has you, and fairly weak. Comes in swarms. I can imagine all the tragic stories that would come with this...
-Emergency Generator / backup lights: I know there's a pod for the generator, but why not. Can be switched on by the player, no flick required. Provides little power, but lasts for a year before breaking. The lights require tiny amounts of power, and only switch on when the backup gen is on, they are very ugly, and low HP. I keep thinking when your base is emptied, your animals are dead, and the ship is gone, a wanderer could join, and enter your derelict. I think that would be cool, and too specific.

I agree, those are rather cool and specific! I'd be willing to try them out if a mod was out there.

personally , the one thing that I want the most and is small? That would be for pawn to turn on the heater on their own and set it to what they feel confortable . Instead of getting 'Slept in the cold!' .

Another is stuff to make a cemetery .
