[Mod Request] Weapon Reload Delay

Could a "Reload Delay" and "Clip Size" variable be added to the game via modding or does that require Ludeon to add it to the core game? 

These variables would allow for a more variation in weapons beyond firing speed, range and damage.  It would add more realism like Combat Extended without the hassle of different ammunition types and without the need to constantly figure out which mods are/aren't compatible with CE.

For example, a large caliber sniper rifle may be able to fire 3 shots before reloading.  Or a pistol could fire 12 rounds before reloading.  Or, an electrified blade that allows 3 stabs before needing to recharge.

This would allow for new strategies in weapon choices, especially if we could see how many rounds were left in a weapon.  We might pull someone out of combat long enough to reload and then reposition them instead of just leaving everyone where they are and pray to the RNG.

It could also allow for cluster/MIRV mortars that fire 2-3 shots and then have a delay for reloading and re-aiming.
