Rimworld Errors

Hey, I downloaded Rimworld alpha 4, but after extracting the files and opening the game I get a bunch of errors in the command field. 
Errors like:
WWW error loading content from (C:\Users\.......):
Couldn't open file /C\Users\....
Could not load System.String at Namebaks/.....

If I try to start a new colony I get the error:

Getting random element from empty list.
Array index is out of range

Help is needed.

I am unfamiliar with those error messages.  What decompression software are you using?  What operating system are you using?  How much confidence do you have in your internet connection / download quality?

Have the same problem. I bought the game yesterday and have the same messages. But for me the game is playble.
