[ Mod Request ] So, why can't WE start a Peace Talk or request a Caravan?

Hey, i know that at a point we're able to use the ComsTerminal to send silver and raise other factions relations.
But, for a long time until you get ComsTerminal, you're on a boat floating the RNGod will to receive caravan requests and peace talks.
My question is.
Would it be too difficult to, i don't know, create an "Apiary" that you use to send letters, as you're yet a filthy tribal, to ask for specific products or ask for diplomacy talks?
Maybe later, add those options on the ComsTerminal, instead of only having only the "I'm gonna bribe you into loving my faction".

Sorry if the Mod does already exist, only thing i've found about it is the Recon mod, but it's not exaclty what i'm seeking, and it's not up to date =z
