Was working with the drop pod gifting function, initially just sending colonists to a faction settlement to trade, then a pawn (curse you volatile idiots) got addicted and I decided to "gift him off" - since it seemed like a better alternative to him being even more useless than he already was.

Sending worked well, got the faction relation increase (relatively high for a single pawn), but expected repercussions for selling off a pawn (basically did that), didn't happen.

Steps to reproduce:

  • get pod launchers & fuel researched / avaiable (or just caravan there, should work aswell, but didn't test it
  • select a victim to caravan/launch off
  • launch / caravan him to the settlement of your choice with the option "give as gift"
  • done

Some repercussion should be a thing, otherwise it's a no-brain deal for generating faction relation...

Maybe you told the rest of the colony that you sent him upstate to live on a farm with the other moody pyromaniacs.

I never got how pawns in the game could have such insanely bad reactions to such mundane things.
Then I came to the forums.

they even know if a colonist or other bullshit gets downed while on an icesheet 400 tiles away, do you really think that they believe this?
