Wooden vents are a thing. Shouldn't require steel.

This feels a bit unbalanced; Maybe they could be 1x2, and cost more? Just my gut feeling, that this feels like it should be costly, rather than being buildable out of the cheapest resource.

It's just a vent. I fail to see how it could be game-breaking.

But sure, make it cost more material than a wooden wall and require a moderate construction skill.

use wooden doors, open and forbid them. saves steel but doesnt help with disturbed sleep.

and I agree, it is illogical to not be able to make wooden vents

At that I'd like to build my vents out of stone since that's usually my primary building material but whatever

Maybe make them require a little steel anyways?

Make them require 10 steel and 20 of stuff, i think both parties would be happy. If you are completely out of steel, you can't afford to build it.

I think there used to be a mod that made vent cost stuff around here somewhere, but i couldn't find it, so i just made it instead.
