Yes. Yes! YES!!!

That's what I have in mind, a whole new material, that can be used for construction, art, weapon and why not, fiber? Archotech fiber, damn that sounds so good right? Archotech flak vests, Archotech cannon, Archotech plants! Ok maybe not the plants xD

But, to keep it semi-balanced, we need to make it so hard to find, and when you find some core... thing/s, you can proceed (Ancient Archotech Core Fragment/s?). Like, for example, in order to research these Archotech items you need an item like the AI persona core and then when you have it make an archotech research bench. Yes I think there is a lot of work to do but for me these ideas are promising.

Yep getting a repository working on github the first time it's a little bit tricky, but it's very convenient to have it
You could make part of the material a plant, maybe a researchable plant which requires high maintenance and a long growth time to keep it balanced, as well as other materials integrated to make it a high end product, which then can branch into either a fabric or a building material. It would be relatively lore friendly and a pretty useful mechanic to add into the game. Ancient Archotech Fragments sounds like an interesting idea, I'll think a bit more on that.

ZE

Archo was supposed to be quest reward tier stuff.... being able to make it should require something hard to get.  Im thinkin....  you make a quest for it.  a random signal picked up that leads you to a crashed ship / factory, with defending mechanoids / turrets, and ambushing factions, your reward being an Archotech Fabricator, like the regular one, except it prints higher tech stuff, and requires more juice.

could be a crazy hard mission, to balance its usefulness, and/or it can't be moved only used where it is, forcing you to set up a second colony there.  and while you own it, it's constantly under raid every few days by jealous factions

each base would contain
1 Archotech fabricator in varying state of disrepair.
0-2 Archotech cannon or whatever you feel like calling it
0-1 Damaged Archotech AI, an immobile "prisoner" you can recruit, and build a body for
4-8 Turrets / Autocannons
3-5 Damaged Vanometric Cells, outputting half the power

That's a really good idea. An extremely hard quest in which the reward is the equipment for building that level of tech. I'll start figuring a way out on how to implement this, thanks!

Sparkling worlds has an event similar to that, a ship crash with an ambushing enemy faction lookin for loot so maybe u can ask the author for help.

Right now you have some descriptions for the archotech bodyparts, but they're kind of basic and grammatically wrong in some places. I was thinking about an archotech mod before this came out so I'd like to suggest some descriptions for the parts.

Advanced Archotech Arm: An artificial arm, built, and then improved upon, by an archotech. Currently the only known instances of Archotech AIs deploying creatures with advanced Archotech technology are on glitterworlds currently at war with said Archotechs. This advanced version of an Archotech arm further enhances every aspect of the original design. Its precision is now able to copy the contents of a book onto a tenth of a human hair (or more commonly, to operate a high powered sniper rifle across thousands of kilometers) and strong enough to crush a superdense plasteel brick in its hands (or, again, more commonly to crush plasteel helmets of glitterworld soldiers). Though damage to one is rare even under the circumstances of its usage, its regenerative abilities are unmatched, able to repair itself in seconds even if it's separated into two clean parts.
The speed at which it operates leads individuals observing an Advanced Archotech arm in regular use describe "only being able to see its afterimage." Its internal workings will remain a mystery to all human minds.

Advanced Archotech Leg: An artificial leg, built, and then improved upon, by an Archotech. Currently the only known instances of Archotech AIs deploying creatures with advanced Archotech technology are on glitterworlds currently at war with said Archotechs. This advanced version of an Archotech leg further enhances every aspect of the original design. The original design could move as fast as a car, this design can move as fast as a plane. Some aircraft have difficulties keeping up. Its user can jump over skyscrapers and flatten them with a kick (though more commonly used to kick Glitterworld mechs into pieces). It nullifies any damage sustained by falling and can easily lift a herd of blue whales (though, again, more commonly used to smash spaceships out of orbit). At full speed, the user would become a blur, barely visible to the human eye, though it would damage any regular biological parts. Its internal workings will remain a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Ears: An artificial ear built by an Archotech. Replacing the entire ear from the Cochlear nerve to the outer ear, it looks and feels like a regular ear. It is able to hear every conceivable wavelength of sound at any frequency across intercontinental distances, in ideal wind conditions. The user can filter exactly what it should hear or even mute it. Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Denture: An artificial denture built by an Archotech. Advanced pico-mechanites assimilate the surrounding tissue, down to the voice box, turning it into a biomaterial of unknown composition. Though it "tingles" during this process, once it is complete the user won't be able to tell the difference, despite it being more resilient than plasteel. Once installed, the denture can crush steel between its teeth, the tongues taste buds can recognize tastes down to the molecule and even spray a highly corrosive acid from the base of the tongue outwards. Teeth, along with all tissue affected by the denture, are automatically regenerated should they be damaged. Other than that, the user can also change the colour, texture and form of his teeth, along with the pitch and volume of his voice at will. It is able to speak faster than the average computer can count,
and able to perfectly mimic all known accents and dialects of all known languages. Some people even get addicted to listening to an Archotech Denture. Its internal workings, as well as the composition of the biomaterial, are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Heart: An artificial heart built by an Archotech. Though it is called a heart, it is closer related to an industrial pump. Advanced pico-mechanites assimilate all blood vessels in the body into an unknown biomaterial, able to withstand the pressures this heart operates at. The capacity of this device to pump liquid is simply wasted on the mere 5 liters of blood a normal human possesses, as it would easily be able to pump lakes dry. Originally, the power source was unknown, though with the recent discovery of Archotech vanometrics, it is now widely believed that it has miniature vanometric cells. The Archotech heart will regenerate any damages done to it over time, though if a foreign object (like a bullet, for instance) happens to get stuck in one of the chambers, the heart can be temporarily accessed with maintenance ports located on each chamber, though a surgery is still required to reach the heart. This level of Blood pumping allows all organs of the body to work at unparalleled efficiency, healing even grave to life-threatening injuries before they cause any permanent damage. Its internal workings, as well as the composition of the biomaterial, are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Lung: An artificial lung built by an Archotech. This lung is able to exchange blood in its artificial capillaries far more efficient than any biological or even bionic lung ever could. The Archotech deploys pico-mechanites to assimilate everything from (but not including) the voice box downwards to the lung itself, allowing it to filter oxygen from air or water before it even makes it into the lungs, allowing it to not only reach maximum efficiency, but also to act as a gill. In addition to that, it is able to compress and hold this oxygen to a maximum recorded pressure of 21,005 psi. In case the windpipe is ever blocked, the lung can also open ports to the Esophagus in an emergency. Needless to say, its user will never lose in a breath holding contest. Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Stomach: An artificial stomach built by an Archotech. This device is able to digest anything thrown at it. Dust, Ash, Metal, Rock, dry ice, poison or even ammunition. So far there's no information as to what is happening inside it, as any measuring instruments inserted are digested immediately. Most of the nutrients and vitamins extracted from non-food material wouldn't normally be able to be absorbed by the digestive tract, though it is assumed the stomach assimilates the digestive tract using previously discovered methods such as archotech pico-mechanites, as the nutrients and vitamins that could be extracted from these foods still end up in the bloodstream. The Esophagus also seems to be altered by it, as it is able to withstand these materials, unlike the mouth that remains unaffected. The sheer efficiency of this stomach will allow its user to go on for a very long time without any food, not that there isn't anything that couldn't be classed as food for the user. Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Liver: An artificial liver built by an Archotech. Once installed, it uses pico-mechanites to assimilate all blood in the user's system, as well as continuing their production after the initial install period for any blood produced after it is installed. The enhanced blood carries red blood cells able to hold 5x the normal amount of oxygen. The immune system turns into a disease hunting machine, able to build immunity to any kind of disease in no time. The Liver itself is able to sustain all ca. 500 functions of a regular liver far better than any other filtering system, biological or mechanical, ever could. An internal subpersona AI is able to remotely control and guide nearly all cells in the bloodstream like a swarm, able to deploy immune cells anywhere or move any offending materials to the liver or wherever they need to be. The most extreme case recorded was a direct injection of 1 milligram of Botulinum Toxin type-H through the eye socket into the brain. Although being the most deadly substance known to humans, injected directly into the place where it is most effective, it did not even exit the needle before the immune system carried the milligram into the liver where it was presumably deconstructed into its parts.
So far, a carrier of an Archotech liver has yet to die of any disease or toxin. Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Kidney: An artificial kidney built by an Archotech. Like the Archotech liver, it is able to filter the bloodstream and cleanse it of any toxins, though without altering the blood itself and having the ability to put what happens with filtered material afterwards to better use. It deploys pico-mechanites to assimilate the bladder and any canals leading to or from it into an unknown biomaterial. Any toxins captured by the Kidney can be used in an unidentified process to generate chemfuel. This process has been described by users of Archotech Kidneys as "highly convenient", though the activation of this process requires a considerable amount of toxic material to be present. It otherwise functions as a normal kidney would, with the added ability of breaking down any regular or chemfuel kidney stones that may form. Still, it wildly outperforms bionic kidneys, let alone regular ones. Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds. (NOTE: special ability to produce chemfuel during toxic fallouts ? I'm no programmer so i don't know if this could be a thing. Would be sick though.)

Archotech Death Claw: An artificial weaponized arm built by an Archotech. Functionally identical to a regular Archotech arm, with the exception of  a hand shape more fit for crushing, and a crushing force of 192,000 psi. To put it into perspective, that is enough force to crush ~112 Femurs, the strongest bone in the human body, in the palm of your hand. Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds.

Archotech Obliterator: (Statswise worse to the death claw *and* the regular archotech Arm. I don't see the point of this thing.)

Archotech Brain Melder: A brain implant in the form of a dose of Archotech pico-mechanites. Once administered, the mechanites begin the assimilation process, where they replace the neurons. Once all neurons have been successfully copied, the mechanites begin taking over the functions of the brain. Some time later begins the maximization process. While retaining the map of interactions between each other, they rearrange themselves into a structure reminiscent of a computer -- tightly packed in a grid. Usually this frees up ~66% of the total space in the brain, where the mechanites then deconstruct the original neuron network in order to build more mechanites. At some point during this expansion, the pico-mechanites also begin assimilating the entire nervous system, as well as coating both the brain and the nervous system with a chrome-like substance immune to outside electricity. Cuts to parts of the nervous system, including the brain, coated in this material are repaired over time. They repel all known ways to analyze the biomaterial, including x-rays and ultrasound, in addition to being magnetic. It is unknown what happens in the brain after it is coated, but the IQ of the individual the Brain Melder is used on rises to the 4-digit area, being more effective the larger the brain. Users of the the Brain Melder become able to complete complex mathematical operations in their head, have perfect recall memory, and some even report being able to let the two brain halves work independently of eachother. They always become masters in whatever they do, be it musical instruments, cooking or surgery. In addition, the user can turn off all sensation of pain at will and even focus healing efforts to areas that would otherwise never heal, like old gunshot wounds or scars. The mechanites along with the biomaterial likely melt together with the original flesh, though there is a way to remove them. The Melder has an emergency frequency that when transmitted to the center of the brain using a long needle, will cause the mechanites to work in reverse of the original process. This is reported to be horrifyingly painful. It is widely believed that the Brain Melder caused the downfall of Archotech AIs, as the soldiers implanted with them quickly realized their own abilities and deserted. The inner workings of this device will likely never be fully understood.

EDIT:
Since you've made advanced versions of the vanilla archotech legs and arms, how about advanced Archotech Eyes ?

Advanced Archotech Eyes: An artificial eye, built, and then improved upon, by an Archotech. Currently the only known instances of Archotech AIs deploying creatures with advanced Archotech technology are on glitterworlds currently at war with said Archotechs. This advanced version of an Archotech eye further enhances every aspect of the original design. It is now able to activate an enigmatic electron-microscope-like vision (dubbed ELDAR by users, ELectron Detection and Ranging) being able to resolve smaller and smaller images with increasingly higher resolution as the eye approaches the object. In addition, the user can also switch to a mirror-telescope mode, powerful enough to see other planets clearly, while still being able to perceive and/or emit anything on the electromagnetic spectrum. The internal subpersona AI can now not only highlight useful information and objects, but also features a Heads-up-Display, showing damaged areas of the body, the current filter settings and even what path a bullet or grenade will travel given the current wind, gravity and bullet type or map the area for a real-time real-life minimap. The most powerful feature is the visual combat assistant, that allows the user to predict what their opponents movements will be in a melee battle. This feature is said to be so effective that it can borderline be classed as a precog sensor. Externally, the eye has not changed, except for the ability to control it independently from the other eye. Its internal workings will remain a mystery to all human minds.

I'd love to see these descriptions ingame, feel free to make any changes you want or even not use them at all, but that would make me sad.
P.S. I tested all of the descriptions, all of them fit, even the last one, that fits *exactly*. <3

As someone who NEVER read the description of things well, i've read everything xD.

But guys, wait a minute. What is an archotec? A state? A kingdome? Or ancient people that were named Archotech? We talk about archotech here, archotech there, but it's an ancient technology or great people considered like titans, woshipped by the normal people?

What I have in mind is: why there aren't more information about this, it's an ancient secret?

I think this game need an archotech faction, super powerful and god-like persons. This idea maybe isn't crazy. You want the archotech technology? You have to defeat the last Archotech that are defending the ruins!

As far as i know, Archotechs are part of the Rimworld lore. They're Super AIs that spread to planets to complete a process called "Transcendence" where they take over the planet and turn it into a massive computer. They either integrate or destroy all the lifeforms on it, or something inbetween the two (Matrix flashbacks ?). But, some of these worlds fail: "Most transcendent worlds stay in the same state indefinitely - in this they are far more stable than their pre-transcendent neighbors. There are, however, reports of transcendent worlds that have "died" and left systems full of unintelligible wonders, or become mirages of normal planets, or simply reverted back to balls of dust, deconstructing themselves on a molecular level, with the last tiny machine shutting itself off." -taken from reddit. So i assume that the vanilla bodyparts are simply remnants of such a failed transcendent world. But the reddit post itself theorizes that the player himself is an archotech, and makes some compelling arguments for it. You should read it.

These are pretty good! The reason I haven't gotten around to the descriptions is because I've been working on a difficult part of the mod which has taken up nearly all my time on it. I'll try to implement most of your descriptions, granted with some changes if needed, but thanks for your input!

Hi, Try moving the mod above all other mods, especially mods like RBSE, EPOE, or Misc Core. The mod has no code so it won't cause any problems when being higher in load order.

Archotech here - archotech there archotech what?
I understand that people like uber stuff, but ow hey, remember about raiders? they pretty like that thing you have too and would like to take it, could you resist 10+ doomsday launchers? Increasing frequency of raids with this amount?
Mentioning these circuimstances archotech should be unobtainable by usual means except exotic traders and rewards.
Also price and efficiency should be toned down - for example 130% blood filtration is enough to overcome infection(or plague?) with crappy self-tend, that liver is overkill.
About nano, pico and attomachinery - stats should be really toned down... or rebalanced. Why? Getting single nanomachinery knife solves most problems with any raids till there are 20+ raiders, by that time i get another nano knife and from time to time recruit disposable pawns(doooomsday launheeeers). And thats on "stay low and slow, no expensive stuff" playthrough, not to mention what massacre happens on normal paythrough...
Also blunt damage multiplier... HOW is that possible? if sharp, i understand cutting on molecular level, but blunt relies on sheer weapon mass and strike force.. thats not logical in any way :/

And most other stuff... like multipliers - they just cannot be all the same on blunt, sharp and heat protection - nanomachinery for example behaves worse with heat but better with blunt - nanobots simply melt, while pico and attomachinery behave much better, but dont distinguish blunt attacks well since they just share vibrations, other stuff: melee cooldown - how that works, explaination, tone down while not explained, please?

About nanomachinery reproduction:
- there can be added research for making 1 unit of nanomachinery - a wholesome of materials and amount of work and reproduction recipes that allow for nano-,pico- and attomachinery to reproduce themselves using raw material (metal for nanomachinery, anything for attomachinery and picomachinery), and allow to produce higher tier of machinery using some amount of lower tier one (using quite some time)
- price of these should be toned down and all of these materials should be rare to find and even rarer to be used without proper research - so price for these shouldn`t be high as its like snow in hell to be used.
Also tribals SHOULD NOT get to my colony wielging clubs and carrying picomachinery weaponry to trade - this usually becomes their final respite, as i usually attack animals and kill them with picomachinery stuff from their stock if they aggro.

About future production recipes - "its internal workings are mystery for all humans" states that humans should not be able to reproduce that, atleast non-legendary inteligence tier pawns.

Advanced archotech? advanced bionics is archotech which uses attomachinery, advanced arhotech is ...? Whaaa? No. please, No! No. No...

Please, stop "advanced this, advanced that" kind of modding

Very nice mod and nice concept, i liked amount of stuff happening just because you have 7 picomachinery weapons (bad that raiders dont understand that sending 22-d raid with 10 dooms launchers will end like 21-t and so on, someone give brains to those), also casual bionics should use materials from this mod - will explain how they regain their lost health.
Nice, but please, add balanced version, save me some time

And i would like to add some description rom me to missing one above.
Archotech obliterator:
This implant is unlike usual bionics, it is made of unknown material that can shapeshift under command. Shape shifting is limited to volume of implant. After installation it creates direct link to main command center of creature (being brain for humans), resulting in instant response to all commands, however besides this it does not behave like it has own intelligence and reacts accordingly to internal programming. In safe situation it takes form and texture of limb replaced and acts and behaves like it is one. When user is exposed to danger it changes itself to several sharp tentacles, allowing for rapid highly precise strikes. Expirienced users reported that it can assume any other form when requested ranging from microscopic manipulators for precise circuitry welding to crude medivial-like shields, resulting in high manipulation and combat efficiency. There are confirmed situations where user downed his opponent with several swift precise moements. This is likely to be an experimental archotech technology as material it is made of does not behave like micromachinery.

Shapeshift? -rememeber T1000 from terminator? Obliterator is similar tech - "memetic metal", that currently cannot be reproduced in rimworld because of unknown composition. Most likely its attomachinery, but does not respond to wielder`s will untill properly installed, unlike attomachinery that can be used to form any shape when touched.
"can assume any other form when requested" - if you know what i mean, hehe

vovik,
yep it isn't balanced and the author don't want it balanced.
You don't need to use it, but don't forget there are allways some people out there they like it unbalanced.

In this case more work for me...

Walls with 350,000 HP might be ludicrous in gameplay... but they're a godsend for mucking about with weapons in testing.
