Buff/debuff due to color or size of attack animals and time of day?

Does time of day effect shooting accuracy? Also, does the size or color of the animal effect how easy they are to hit? I assume size matters, but what about color? For example, what if I take 50 cobras to raid an enemy base at night along with some black panthers (if there are such things)? Or, conversely, would white polar bears be easier to see and thus hit at night?

Lighting might affect shooting accuracy, but definitely not due to color.
