Designated Building/House through Area zones

Hello Rimworld people

I quite like making villages with separate houses that contain a living area and bedrooms for family.

However people who aren't part of that 'family' or the 'household' go into it and it just annoys me. It would cool if you could make an area on the area which designates that only people with a bed in that zone can go inside that area. Just stops tards going in willy nilly and it sounds really ridiculous but I like to be immersed in the game. And it ruins meh immersion.

Have you tried using the allowed zones? I believe you can designate specific colonists to only be allowed to enter specific zones or not allowed to enter specific zones. You could create zones for each separate family on where they can go, and just make it the entire map with the exception of the other families houses. Would this work for you?
