This is really smth that bothers me and I'm willing to use a mod for that. That for a good part of your colony life you have no other choice than having your apparels on the floor, one per tile...Any advice?

Not a modder so don't know how possible it is, but could a mod add a second map, like that mod that adds underground mining, and could that map be just a big indoor storage area for clothes, with an entrance being an item in the real world, a wardrobe?

Now it would look weird for a pawn to walk up to a wardrobe and disappear and then watch them walking around in this big room, but you could RP it that the time spent there is them rifling through the closet :D

I don't think I'd use it, I don't keep enough clothes for it to bother me. But it was just an idea.

I never got how pawns in the game could have such insanely bad reactions to such mundane things.
Then I came to the forums.

Perhaps a modder could code a dresser "pawn" which can "wear" multiple shirts, pants, hats, etc.  It would need to be immobile, not need food, and not count to the raid threat calculation.  But as an added bonus it would explode in a shower of clothing if anything destroyed it.  So you wouldn't have to worry about items getting "lost" the way you might with other methods of implementing it.
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

2 mods i know to store appareals.
ExtendedStorage, clothing rack, 2x1 furniture to store 11 appareal of the same type.

Infinity storage, can store like the name say unlimited stuff but need power.
