I cant figure out how to get mods

someone please help me! I cant figure out how to extract the files. how?!?!?

In the RimWorldAlpha4fWin folder there is an subfolder named "Mods". Dump the folder carrying the mod name -not its contents, the entier folder- into "Mods". Bang, you're done.
Remember to activate the mod via the menu.

The person said 'extract'. Just right click on the file and click 'extract to here' (if it doesnt appear in the menu tell me) then the folder that appears after that goes into the mods folder as previously specified and is then activated in the mods section of the main menu (in game)
