How many animals is too many?

I don't see a need for additional disease events. Animals already contract and die from flu and plague, as well as the occasional heart attack. The tameness mechanic provides a sliding scale cap on animal population, determined by how much of the colony's resources that you're willing to devote to animal keeping.

Yeah if I let colonists do the unloading it would grind my colony to a halt.  That's why I wish there were more convenient mass-unloading tools.  Generally I send 'em all to a zone then go through each animal and click Drop on all the inventory - and it's way too much mousing back-and-forth between the animals and the Gear pane.  A Gear hotkey would be favorite.

...You can drop items from a tamed animal's inventory manually? I've been playing since A16 and I never knew this!
