Colonists bar sort/drag option?

Suggest to add options to sort colonists bar as we want. Let say I have 5 colonists
Alex, Gordon, Lee, Travis, Clark and I want them rearrange, not by name or age, but to click and drag.
Maybe split into group/s option.
Like Gordon and Lee on the left(tey are melee) and rest to right(rangers).
This would be useful with 10+ colonists. Where you only have 5 good shooters, and rest can continue work.

I can drag and drop the portraits with the right mouse click.

I don't know if this option is valid in vanilla or it's one of my mods.

It's been in the base game for a ahile.
It *might* be in a tutorial somewhere?
(I shut off the tutorials after I got the hang of the game, so new info like this would be lost if it's only in tutorials...)

Is there any way to move their position on the screen?
Used to be able to do this in an old mod pack (A17), where you can even move the entire bar to the bottom and 'compact' them among other useful features. Unfortunately I never got the particular mods name.
