lightning conductors

If the roof is made from the wood, there will be a small chance that lightning will hit the roof, because metals attract the lightning. But wood roof isn't reliable. It could collapse at any moment. So If possible building roof with materials is needed, because different materials behave it differently .
It might be curious to build lightning conductors to prevent lightning damage or avoid it. I think it also requires the roof to be known.
