Is there a way to stop raiders trying to avoid traps/turrets? It's lagging BAD.

Every time there's a raid, my game turns into a slideshow when it comes time for the raiders to actually ASSAULT my base. Usually about the time that they start trying to path around my mines, turrets and such. It turns the game into a slideshow where combat will be 1-2 seconds of action, 2-3 of pause, and then repeat.

But the reason I'm betting this is related to raider pathing is that the second they start to flee it goes back to smooth running.

So- how do I turn raiders back into the old pathing method without rolling back to B18 or so?

Option 1: deconstruct your turrets, traps, etc., and make it easier for the attackers to path :)

Option 2: find the raid type definition in the Mods tree that is causing you trouble and edit it out.  (Unfortunately I don't know where this is in the current version.)
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

That would probably be editing out the raids that say they have tactics. You should be able to do that in the scenario and not even have to text edit.
It is regular practice to install peg legs and dentures on anyone you don't like around here. Think about that.
