I don't know anything about the technicalities of rimworld. IM not even that good. I really enjoy playing though. Today when I opened rimworld I was met with a debug log with probably a thousand different entries all in red. It was all something about mods but I don't have any mods at all. I don't have any subscriptions either. I closest it and tried to play anyway. I started a game but when it generated no colonists spawned and after a minute or so it said that everyone in the world was dead.

Here's what I've tried so far:
Verifying cache
Restarting computer
Reinstalling rimworld
Uninstalling mods (I had none to begin with)

Please someone help I don't want my game to be permanently corrupted :(

That's wild if you aren't using mods and you reinstalled it, it should be fine. only thing i could see maybe
right click it in steam library
under properties make sure you opt out of the betas

I am opted out of betas. I deleted rimworld through the steam application and scoured and deleted every last rimworld file on my pc and it came up exactly the same when I reinstalled it. A new finding is that all of my previously homemade scenarios work, but no new ones or vanilla ones work.
