[1.0] Colonists Never Spawn In

New to the forum, so sorry if I mess up some stuff.

Everytime I start a new rim-world game, the colonists never seem to appear. A minute later, the dialogue after all of your colonists appear, telling me everyone is dead and forcing me to start a new game. I've tried this multiple times.

I've disabled all mods, same problem. I deleted all my mods, same problem. I also deleted my config file incase there was any problem with that, re-verified all my files before I started, and it seemed fine. I started a new world and the same problem has occured.

I've never had this problem until now, and it isn't a new issue that i've had with 1.0. I've played on 1.0 many times before and this is the first time its happened.

I've looked around a-lot on the steam forums and online forums such as this, and just haven't seen any viable solutions. If I have missed something, please let me know so i'm not clogging up the feed.

Short way,
go into your rimworld installation, open mods folder and delete Core.
Then let steam repair/reinstall it.

If this didn't fix your problem, please read the sticky of this subforum and provide some logfiles.
