No Sound Anymore

Rimworld no longer has any sound when I try to play it. The sound was working 24 hours ago (on same device) and continues to work normally everywhere else including 5 other steam games I have tried.

Additionally, I have:
Uninstalled / Reinstalled Rimworld.
Ensure my volume setting are up / sound mixer on windows has sound for Rimworld
Updated drivers
Turned of sharing setting in GeForce Experience.
Restarted my computer multiple times

Otherwise of note may be that I use Realtek HD Audio for my sound playback.

I have scanned the internet and tried to implement any solutions and none have worked.  The Realtek app doesn't have much in the way of settings to mess around with.  My current GeForce driver is version 417.35 released 12/12.  I am using a RoG laptop with i7, GTX 1060, Windows.

So I want to apologize, this is affecting other games too.  I just tried to run Hearthstone through the Blizzard app and it has no sound as well.  Though as far as I know it uses Unity as well.  Maybe this is the cross-current. 

Still, it would be great to hear some helpful ideas

Okay problem solved.  The issue was Sonic Suite 3 (which I didnt even know I had).  I closed it in task manager, and then *poof* sound in both Rimworld and Hearthstone!
