I don't know if this has been brought up before because I'm new to the forums but I have an idea about the planet seeds. And if this has been brought up then just delete this.

So I was thinking that if they ever decide to update the game and add more biomes or more variations of planets, it would be nice if they could make so you can save your planets to some sort of "Saved Planets" list and start playing on them again but with a new colony!
Since many of the planets are really special and awesome for sci-fi roleplaying and other things!
I have played with all my colonies on the same planets - just different ares of the planet since I got the game and it would really really suck to lose that planet.

I don't really have more to say but please consider this!

and if you wonder what seed I'm playing on for some reason its: boomrat and the planets name is Old Acubens which is kinda cool tbh.

I think climate type and continent size make as much influence as planet seed does. In the end after you choose your desired biome and terrain it will be the placement of roads and settlements which does truly matter. The former you can find almost on every planet whereas the latter does highly depend on every choice of settings you make.

So adding option to randomize roads and settlements within already existing planet will give much more flexibility.

Someone is working on a mod with that feature.
