Scenario :
Set up the default food restriction "forbid survival package meal", with the idea of a "travel" setting allowing the survival package meal (this way your colonists doesnt consume the said meals, unless they get this setting, set when they are traveling as a caravan)

When you rescue some person, your caravan will notice "0 days of food" and the rescued person will starve to death

I understood that this person has the default setting "forbidden survival package meal", which was the only meal available in the caravan, and there were no way to change his/her food restriction setting. The only way to fix it was to edit the default setting itself, but allowing the whole colony to consume survival package meals as well.

By the way, it would be a huge enhancement for a low dev cost to be able to change colonist food restriction in the caravan set up as well.
