Black Screen Issue , except it's kinda weird

Hello everyone !

I have encountered the black screen issue with my play through . I'm playing vanilla for a while now and has never installed mods . Of course , I looked around here for solutions , but the game still starts with a black screen and the only thing visible is the game's cursor .

My OS : Windows
I tried :
Deleting Rimworld's configuration files
Reinstalled the game
No issue with the anti-virus programs
Downloaded and ran Delete_RimWorld_Registry_entries.reg
Restarted my laptop

Oddly , the problem solves itself when I open the game through my USB pen drive . It runs as normal . But as soon as it gets updated the same thing happens again . As such , I would like to ask for help so that I can play like I used to again .

Hi,
Rimworld create a logfile at every start.
look for the output_log.txt at the ....data folder at your installation.
Attach that file to your answer, you need to use "Reply" so you get the file attachment option.

You said reinstall, did you manual delete the old installation before if not try this out.
