Hello,

is there a mod out there which is able to provide an alternative/addition to the planet generator?

It takes always ages to generate a planet, so directly loading / saving one (alongside seed, parameters and list of used biome mods) would be neat..

Perhaps with a togglable switch to save the faction(bases) along or not.

I know there was a mod you could replay an old seed with the location of your old base as ruin's you could even reuse. But i can't remember the name or find it.

But there are 2 mods you can adjust some setting on world generation
Realistic Planets
Configurable Maps

But normaly you don't create map's that much, so loading Rimworld take's more time then to create mods.
So maybe Map Reroll comes in handy for you too.

I meant that you can skip the generation time of the planet and just load the planet from a savefile, like Prepare Carefully does for the colonists.

Always using fully fleshed out planets, because it irks me seeing just seeing only a slice of it.

There is just one mod in development
QuotePlanned Features:

Start a new colony using a world from a previous save.

But the mod author isn't active so i wouldn't await anything from it.
