Sound is missing

When I installed this game, it worked fine. The last thing I did is played, then I turned PC off. Next day I turned it on and now sound is completely missing, so I literally changed nothing. That's the only game (or app) where that happened. I'm playing WoW, Factorio, sound works there, sound works in Google Chrome and Discord. I downloaded audio drivers from Asus website and reinstalled them, it did not help either. Also I reinstalled Nvidia drivers, because game indicates that it uses DX 9 which is kind of strange. I tried to tinker with audio settings in Windows, disabled all unused sound devices, disabled all effects but nothing helped.

My motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B250F GAMING; audio seems from Realtek (built-in).
My OS: Windows 10 with latest updates.
I'm using DRM-free version, installed at C:\Users\Vladimir\Programs\RimWorld2231Win64. I also tried 32-bit version.

Unfortunately I don't have any of that nahimic stuff installed. But I searched for a similar software and decided to delete Asus Sonic Studio, Asus Sonic Radar and Creative Sound Driver. Well, sound works now!

I had the same problem. Everything worked fine for ages. Then lo and behold suddenly no sound. I uninstalled Asus Sonic Studio and suddenly it worked again.
