Setting Pawns to ignore does not stop them from attacking automatically

I am trying to do a naked brutality ice sheet run and my pawn keeps attacking insects as they walk past them even if set to ignore. The moment they walk pass them they immediately attack them due to pathing issues?

What do you mean by that?

Do you mean by him being drafted or him walking by the insect hive?

If it is the latter, then there is something that you should forbid like the insect jelly or if he's trying to clean the area in the insects...

The insectoids will attack first to defend it's hive... So it might not be his fault...

One "happy family" in the rims...

Kirby he said he put that pawn on ignore, so that pawn won't be drafted.

But like Kirby said, when you pawn just path close to that hive, the insects will attack that pawn. Even when they sleep they will notice him when he comes too close.

It is just the question, does your pawn fight back or does he keep moving ?
Since you put him on ignore he should keep walking but that could be very dangerous for him.
