mods impossible to install

hi from france tried to install mods following the instructions of the site whatever the version (i tried with ervery version available on the web and paid for a steam key that doesn't work) i used the mods appear in the box i can tick them but they don't show up in game (i put hugs lib and EdBprepare in first place as i was told) what shall i do?

Hi,
the question is, what version of Rimworld do you use curently ?
Hugslib 6.1.1 and EdB Prepare Carfully 1.0.11 are for Rimworld 1.0.2059 or higher.

No ! :-)
Since you bought a steam key, you can use the steam workshop for mods.
I bet there is somewhere some overview how many mod for each version are made.
But i would recommend anyway allways to use the latest Rimworld version.
Except you want to use a special mod for an older rimworld version that didn't got updated.

i use precisely the version 1.0.2059 and hugs lib doesn't work. No the key for steam was corrupted by G2A.com

think i 'll wait for my refund and then i 'll buy a legit version at steam's shop. don't go to G2A.com (they took 14 euros from me and are not responsive will be refund in a week

Hmm at first you use 2059, then 2231 (latest actual release).
The problem are, after 2059 there was a small reform for the mod version, so you have these "Targetversion" warnings (yellow text) at the log window and the following error (red text).
Basicly you can ignore these, the mod author didn't update it yet, but the mod still work.

Hugslib at example got a newer version 6.1.3.

If you can use a text editor, you manualy can edit the About.xml from mod, to made it error free.
Take a look at the yellow text it show you want you need to replace.

i finally bought it on steam no problem anymore but 30 bocks for that
