Game won´t load :(

Hi!

My knowledge of programming or any similar topic is virtually nonexistent, could any of you fine gentleman help me figure out why my game refuses to load? I´ve tried disabling certain mods to no luck, any help would be very appreciated :)

Hi,
only the modlist won't say us anything why the game don't start.
So maybe attach the logfile. To locate the logfile take a look at
https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=513.0
To attach files to your answer you need to use Reply first.

Since your statement "won't load" is a bit diffuse could you please explain it more.
- Does Rimworld won't start and you don't see the main menu anymore.
Then you should delete the ModConfig.xml at the Config folder where Rimwolrd write the data (same area like the safegames are, check the link from above).
Then you should rebuild your modlist at small batches.
Alternativ you can try out a mod sorting tool.

- Or does you can't load a safegame anymore.
Then we need the logfile for sure, to see why it don't load.
Does you maybe turn off the PC pretty fast after you safed/exit or does the PC crashed maybe.
Mosttimes these file isn't recoverable.

It gets stuck in world generation, the save file can be loaded and all, but wont go past the world generation phase

These log looks pretty fine.
But i think it is made before you load a safegame/create a new colony.
Could you attach the Rimworld log (output_log.txt) located at the ..._data folder at your rimworld installation ? Be sure you get these world generation phase before, because at each rimworld start the log get newly created.

Let me guess, it is a permadeath safegame ? Can you look at the safegame folder, there should be a backup file of your safegame.
Maybe change the extension and name so it count as safegame for rimworld and maybe try to load these.
