Hey there, thanks for posting and may I say that I'm delighted you are enjoying the music! :-)  An official soundtrack album is indeed in the works. I'm beginning to wonder if we should wait until all the music for the game is finished to release one, or maybe we should release it in two halves i.e. Vol1 very soon followed by Vol2 much later?

My idea is that the music pieces are released as soon as they are in the game, one by one. I love the music you've added already and cannot wait to hear more of it.

ohh I'd very much prefer to have it all in one package myself
oh oh slightly offtopic but will there be some sort of more uptempo
bowel movement inducing tunes for tight combat situations?

like something jagged alliancey
(ofcourse the combat in that is much longer and really the entire focus of the game
unlike rimworld but)

I'm really enjoying the tracks aswell
I find it really immersive, fits the atmosphere of the game so nicely
