Hello guys,

I create this topic to put forward an annoying problem when you use too many mods :

They are a lot of tabs at the bottom of the UI !

Like that :

The user Tocato already posted about this problem and suggere a solution for that : https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=48633.msg457881#msg457881

I would like to attract the attention of modders about this problem because more and more of them create new and cool tabs but now there is no option to manage them.
The problem is the same with the buttons on the bottom right which became legions !
Some of you could create a mod to manage theses tabs/buttons before that become a jungle  ?  :D

A few ideas :

- Cycle the menu (from the topic by Tocato)

- Add more tabs lines with a hidden and/or a floating option, vertically and/or horizontaly

- One "mod" tab which contain all the others like the architect tab or subtabs

- A(n automatic) merge patch which paired similar tabs into one with the author autorizations. Like Pharmacist and Medical from Fluffy's mod

- For the buttons on the bottom right, the toggle option for colonist groups in Misc. Core mod is an idea (you could see it on the screenshot, it's the little black button right next the others which containt a hyphen)

A community UI mod wich contains all or a part of the ideas above could be great so all the moders will be able to adapt their mods to it.

I hope to find an echo in the community of modders and players with mods !

appreciate the shout out. It turns out this nifty little mod allows you to manually shut off which tabs appear below whenever you want. Not the ideal solution as im partial to the merging or cycling but it works well.

Thanks for the reply, it's a good start ! Maybe with the author's permission I'll take a look at the code to see what we can do. It is already an introduction to the handling of these elements.
