Game is lagging from the World Generator onwards, Anyone help?

Hi there,

Been playing rimworld for 1K+ hours, and suddenly when i try to make a new colony the game is fine through storyteller, but when i get to the world generator, it just lags constantly. This continues through the character creation and onto the actual game. Its currently unplayable. Anyone have any suggestions?

P.S i have no mods active as thought that was the issue.

Do you have a 144hz monitor? I have the same problem, and i'm fairly sure it's due to rimworld not running at a high enough frame rate.

How long have you had Rimworld Installed? Your game files could have gotten corrupted. Safe bet is to backup saves and reinstall.
