Un-modded Rimworld severe stuttering with full screen.

My main gaming computer has severe stuttering try to play Rimworld in fullscreen mode. But if you change to windowed mode it runs as smooth as butter. This is with the vanilla game even. If you zoom out the stuttering gets worse with being full on 2-5 second pauses at the farthest zoom level.

This doesn't happen on my HP Spectre X2 though, which is a much weaker machine with intel graphics.

Hi,
what you describe it sound like a problem with your video card or mashine rather then with the game itself.
Did you try to update the video driver ?
Do you use any tools to enhance the video card settings like at your case the ATI control things.

*Solved*

It wasn't a performance issue as all other games ran perfectly without stuttering. I updated to Windows 10 - 1909 and the stuttering has completely vanished.
